Editing and Color Balance Breakthrough: Emulation Project

As I've been editing my final photos I've made a breakthrough on color balance and tone! Typically if I desire to convey a 'warm' tone, I just shift the warmth dial up. However, this causes the 'whites' of the photo to end up yellowing. Not bad, but Eggleston (who I'm attempting to emulate), keeps his whites white, and his colors warm. This meant that I had to learn how to use the hues, colors, and luminance functions of Lightroom to pull out the warm tones of my colors, and keep my whites and blacks pure (not warm or cool).

Through much trial and error, I think I'm making progress! More updates to come as I post my final photos, but I thought this was worth noting.
